二、答題思路 1. 建立人物結構： 包括背景信息、人物外貌、人物性格、主要成就、吸引你的特質等。就背景信息而言，很簡單，就是簡單介紹一下這個人是誰、跟你的關系、年齡、職業(yè)、過往經(jīng)驗等等，一切跟話題和你主要想表達的內容有必要聯(lián)系的都可以介紹一下。（NewStars教育移民）
2. 介紹人物的基本特征：
這里要注意的是，介紹外貌應避免俗套的一些表達，比如：She’s tall and thin, and she has two big eyes.”、“Her hair is long and black.”等。 “tall and thin”已經(jīng)俗不可耐，tall還尚可，thin本身是個貶義詞，意為削瘦的、稀落的。這樣的表達只能使你的分數(shù)停留在5分，甚至更低。
關于頭發(fā)的描述方法有：thin hair頭發(fā)稀，wavy hair卷發(fā)/波浪發(fā)，curly hair卷毛，straight hair直發(fā)，bald禿頂?shù)模琩ishevelled hair凌亂的頭發(fā)。

其實考察考生描述人物外貌描述的好不好，關鍵是看考生能否讓考官聽后抓住人物的特色、對人物留下印象。這需要考生選取一些有特色的地方來描述，讓考官印象深刻。
3. 描述人物性格： 一般我們通過描述性格及事件來突出人物值得借鑒學習的地方，所以對于人物性格描述更不可落入俗套。比如很多考生描述朋友就只會用friendly、kind、nice等，其實有很多詞都可以表達友好、友善，比如amicable、amiable、benign等。

4. 描述相關事件： 在對人物的外貌、性格等特征描述完之后，接下來就需要考生搜集素材，通過一個個事例來把人物豐富起來，而具體選擇什么樣的事例、如何敘述，因題而異。
大家可以往兩個大方向著手準備：
（1）熟悉的人：可用來描述家庭成員、朋友、鄰居、幫助過你的人、老人、孩子等； （2）名人：電影明星、體育明星、歌手、成功的人、你羨慕的人等。還可以跟電影、書、音樂結合。
